Characters

Students who participated in this task did a good job presenting the profiles of their characters. They fielded five questions from the audience and then received feedback on their overall performance from the teacher. The main things students need to remember and practise for other presentations in the coming weeks include:

• Speaking loudly 
• Speaking clearly
• Be sure to present for at least 2 minutes but not more than 5.
• Use little cards with prompts and avoid reading everything.

              

"Polly", a musician from the United States of America and "Ella", a ten year old girl from Australia.

           

"Dan", an 8-year old Australian boy and "Ben", who enjoys martial arts and presented a very detailed profile of himself.

4-year old "Claire's" presentation was captivating and "David" clearly enjoys playing soccer.

         

"Shannen's" favourite food is chicken and chips while "Kevin" has a few pets and enjoys celebrating ANZAC

"Mark" the fireman gave us some information about
himself. He was very sensible not to bring water
in his equipment.

"TJ" did an excellent job fielding questions and
making up very sensible answers on the spot.
